An Opportunity to Encourage Widows and Orphans

"Sing unto God, sing praises to his name:  extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.  A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation."  (Psalm 68:4-5)

It is a beautiful thing that God himself defends the widows!  My question to you is, "How does God do ANYTHING in the earth?"  The answer is, "Through his people!"

We will be glad to provide more information on how you can lift up these women and children.  Your dollars can be ear-marked for food, clothes, medical assistance,     housing, agriculture, and/or farm animals.

"For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:  He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.  Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt."  (Deuteronomy 10:17-19)

A piece of my heart stayed with these children and theirs with mine.  I try to always remember what Jesus said in Mark 14:7, "For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good..."

Sharing the love of Jesus is a defining moment in everyone's life!

One of the Local Community Food Banks

Donna calls him Mr. Bill!  He is part of the Southport-Oak Island Interchurch Fellowship. It is composed of area churches, representing various denominations that seek to offer a united witness to Jesus Christ in this community by working collectively in its attempt to be obedient to the Gospel.

ODMI has been actively serving the Brunswick County, NC area in cooperation with the local food bank.  They have been generously giving their surplus to us; extending beyond

their sphere, deeper into the fabric of our community.

As Jesus commanded, we are the Body of Christ working together with other ministries, providing food, clothes, and

the love of Jesus to our neighbors.

Consulting - Special Needs Children

Nancy coordinated a First Responder's Outreach in Lumberton, NC, October 22, 2016.  The focus was to introduce Police Officers and Firefighters to children with autism or other disabilities, and vice-versa.  We fear the unknown.  Adults and children alike had a blast and this gathering.
